JOHN LENNON Box Of Vision: Back cover of Box

Here is the back of the outside Box… John’s drawing titled “Baby Grand.”
I had originally thought of using an oversized image of John’s “chop”– the red japanese characters he used as a signature on his graphic art (and is on the front cover of the Mind Games album). I thought that since the Box of Vision is intended to store John’s body of work, it would be appropriate that his chop be represented. Then the Lennon folks offered that I use one of his drawings itself– and “Baby Grand” which seemed perfect for this– which included his chop as a signature. Thought it was a great idea.

It is carefully printed– on the painter’s canvas material of the Box– to look like he picked up a pencil and doodled it onto your box.
