Jon, I can download the .pdf’s, however, I do not see much value in these. What I want is a revised printing of the booklet. I am willing to pay for it if that is the road block to getting a revised printing.

    • Hi Tony. I am working on being able to make revised Catalographies available (I may have to do it as just the chart). Its tricky because i dont have the right to sell these separately. I wanted to make the pdfs available now so at least, as a reference document, you would have the correct info.

Jon, Thanks for the input, I now understand about the legal issues, must be really complicated, keep up the great work.

  2. There’s a lot of confusion about whether the numbered edition is available from the UK/Europe supplier, the Hard Day’s Night Shop.

They say their edition isn’t numbered, but the people at ordering.com (who take the US orders) seem to think that the copies sent to the UK for sale ARE numbered.

I’m in the Netherlands, so I’d like to order from the UK to avoid import duties imposed when buying from the US.

Can you please tell me whether either the US or the UK shop still has numbered copies available?

    Thanks,

    Ian

    • Ian: the ones on sale in the UK are not numbered. ( There are only a small quantity of the numbered ones left and they can only be ordered now from the US site.)
Unfortunately we had some stumbling blocks getting inventory to the UK early on (a long frustrating story, but we ae grateful to the good people at the Hard Days Night Shop for coming through in a pinch). By the time we did most had already been sold.

      • Thanks for replying, Jon.

I have just placed an order with the US store. Even with the $70 FedEx shipping charge, it’s still no more expensive than buying from the UK store (unless I’m hit with import duty when the item clears customs, which will probably happen).

Still, at least this way I’ll get a numbered edition.

    The pdf works fine.

Also glad to have this forum just to say thank you for putting the BofV together. I was somewhat skeptical about whether I needed this item (and at this price point) but the truth is I am so glad I bought it. It really makes the collection of cd’s feel even more special, like an heirloom. It’s something I can pass down to my daughter one day(not too soon, I hope!) that reflects just how much this music means to me. I hope it’s just as important to her one day.

    • thanks Steve. I appreciate that. one of the names i played around with in the early going was a variation on “heirloom.” Im looking forward to the day i can really sit with my 2 year old and really enjoy the music together.
